Is GHG reporting mandatory in the UAE?
Yes. Under Federal Decree-Law No. 11 of 2024 on the Reduction of Climate Change Effects, businesses in high-emission sectors are required to measure and report their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. This will come into effect by May 30, 2025.
